Dental Hygiene assessment of teeth, gum tissue, head and neck . This initial assessment also includes an oral cancer evaluation with the use of advanced technology such as the Velscope and an evaluation of the biofilm (dental plaque) from below the gumline with a microscope.

Scaling

Scaling
Thorough scaling and root planing, this is usually required above and below the gumline. Removal of plaque and tartar reduces inflammation and promotes a healthy mouth free of disease.

Polishing

Polishing
Polishing is done to remove superficial stains from the teeth for a cleaner and brighter smile. Both air polishing as well as mechanical polishing are available. Only natural products are used.

Ongoing Oral Hygiene

Ongoing Oral Hygiene
Oral Hygiene is offered to provide education and awareness of specific products and the benefits as needed. Keeping the mouth and teeth clean helps to prevent dental problems such as gingivitis, cavities, gum disease, and bad breath. Good Oral Hygiene results in a mouth that heals, regenerates, remineralizes, and neutralizes acids.
